Waiting can make us feel as though life has stopped while everyone else moves forward. A question remains unanswered, a relationship stays uncertain, or the next step is still unclear. We may struggle to find words for prayer.

God’s grace gives us room to be honest about that struggle. Faith does not require us to call every difficult day easy. We can name disappointment and still ask for the strength to meet what this day holds.

A waiting season may need a gentler rhythm: a brief prayer in the morning, a walk, a conversation with someone trustworthy. These practices do not guarantee an outcome. They create space to remain connected to God and to one another.

If you are waiting today, you do not have to measure your faith by how confident you feel. Begin with the prayer you can offer. Hope may start with a simple request: Lord, stay near, and help me take the next step.
